A Story To Share

wow, it's been awhile.....again. lol
no special updates recently tho...but not today x)
i've something to share here!

Just this morning i was watching this video on Facebook about some policeman being rude to a woman n all that...but i think tht's quite an old story already if im not wrong cz the video looks familiar to me.

but when i got home after work, Gwen told me this incident, that actually happened this noon!

here's what happened:

Gwen n her colleague went out to look at furnitures somewhere in Balakong, and suddenly an Indonesian lady came crying asking them for help, saying that everyone she seeks for help all ignored her n left.
Well, of cz, nowadays there're so many crime n scams out there, it's quite usual to be precautious.
But Gwen n her colleague layan-ed tht Indonesian lady, and listened to what she had to say.

It seems that she got robbed and need a phone to call her husband.
After dropping her kid in school, and went home, about 5-6 men dressing in police officers' uniform went to her house and said she's suspected having illegal permit in Malaysia n need to check her home.
Being a foreigner here, she's definitely freaked out and let them in to check.
So these men started taking her jewellery n money, telling her that they're all fake stuff and asked her to follow them to Balakong Balai.
She can't do anythg but just to follow. And these men forced her to take her motorbike along to the balai.

Half way there, those men asked her to get down, took her motorcycle, n ran off n left her at the place where Gwen met her.
Gwen asked for the husband's number n gave him a call, and the husband scolded the wife really loud and all and then came n picked her up from the place.
That's the end of the story.

So, you people out there be really careful ya!
I told Gwen that lady's story could be true, but also could be a made-up. The husband could be a pakat for some scams they're planning to, I don't know. Just to take precaution x)
You never know, they used Gwen's phone, got her number n stuff, n God knows what they'll do with it. hahaha mayb i think to much.
but let's all avoid before anything happens xD

sorry for the long-din-post. lolz
for those who doesnt know, erm..I'd quit Young Jump after 2 months. LOLz
very big contrast with my previous post eh? ahahah

anyway, I'm now in Fly Studio as CG Artist. it's in Kelana Jaya n of cz, NEARRRR. ahhaha
over here we do nearly everything but mainly TV Commercials lah.

I like my new job and pictures that you're gonna see answer it all..hahah

something i did during 1st day, waiting for my workplace to be ready lolz

and YES! i came on the right time!! 1901 time! LOLz for those who dont know, every 19th of the month 1901's hotdog cost only RM1.99. but oni for 2 type. go check it urself^^
at 930am me n another colleague were waiting in Pyramid's 1901 stall. there are 2 stalls. we conquer both. LOLLL altogether, 75 pieces we bought ahah

and we have our very own superhero, Fly Rider! ahha super cool design

that's the man behind the mask. HAHA

I'M IN THE INDUSTRY
finallyyyy xD
i'd quit being a tutor in TOA and moved on into Young Jump Animation, in Cheras.(farrrrrrrrr)
but luckily, i have a bunch of friends to carpool with me xD

all under same company, but i'm in a different department.
they're all in Animation Department, I'm in Mocap Editing department, for a month they said x)

Mocap (Motion Capture) is this.

i guess everyone has seen this before rite? btw, this pic is Googled. LOL
so basically what i do is cleaning up the mocap animation.

For example, after shooting the actors in those black MoCap clothes, the data recorded will be generated into d computer and keyframed.
Then my department's to clean up unwanted frames and also refine the poses. And later on will pass to the Animation Department to animate the details like Facial Expression, fingers, legs, camera n so on.
Including me, my department only has 7 ppl...

we're currently working on Saladin, an animated TV series and is to be aired in Arab x)

TIRING!!! cz of the travel time..
but it's great to learn new thing! n i miss Maya..LOL cz we use Motion Builder for Mocap

already a week in Young Jump, and I'm still getting to know everyone. as usual, I'm very quiet when i meet new ppl..ahaha
gimme another month...heheheh xD

being a student n tutor in TOA for 4 years....I MISS TOA. i feel it already. LOL

Inspired
I'm not sure if everyone is feeling the impact of world economy crisis yet, but for me, I still don't feel it, but I see it from many others.
Big companies are losing money, closing down, bankrupt, and so on.
Nearly everyone is affected I can say. Even the rich, they became poor. And of cz, the poor, became "poorer".

But I still see ppl spending money like nobody's business. LOL.

I asked ppl bout what they think bout this situation n how it affect the industry i'm in.
basically ppl are cutting their budget n try not to spend more on CG production n stuff.

anyway, this post is not so boring larh actually. I just wanna share with u guys a inspiring positive thought towards this economy crisis.

Someone told me,
Yea, economy crisis affect my company, but I'm happy. Why? because those succesful ppl now are successful because they've gone thru bad situations like this, n theirs is actually worse. For example, World War, 1997 Economy Crisis and so on. But us, we are too comfortable, have not experience any such situation and now is a chance for us to try it. And when we get thru this, we'll get something in return.
well, tht's a very positive mindset and i definitely like it. haha

This is a lil bit too late i know..haha

basically there were 2 events last weekend :
14th February was Valentine's Day, 15th was my niece, Vianne's full month celebration xD

at 1st it was a headache on where to have our dinner on Vday.
so i surfed thru the net and found this rather interesting place where I've heard bout it for quite some time, but just didn't have the chance to make a visit there.

now that's Fullhouse i'm talking about! with its "landmark", a blue Mini Cooper right at the entrance.
everytime when i go to the net seeing posts on Fullhouse, this Mini Cooper is definitely there. LOL

this place is at this quite new area called Niu Ze Xui aka NZX, in Ara Damansara. u can get here from LDP or the Subang Airport way...somewhere behind PAWS. xD

Now as u can see, some food pics were..eaten half way. HAHAHA!
this was due to our hunger, that we forgotten to snap pic.
cz we waited for the food for an HOUR!!!lollll
but the food was good anyway x)

some shots of the interior n exterior of Fullhouse.
basically it's concept is somewhat like The Curve's Apartment, but this is more to like a Bungalow with garden,bedroom,living room, toilet, etc.
i'd say it's a nice place to chill at. x)

as for that day, both of us felt as if we were in another world..LOL
we were actually observing the couples around us and we realised, most of them dressed up quite KUA CHEONG lor....LOL but sweet looking also la..as if we were in some wonderland like that.

we even saw a guy next to our table, suddenly got up n kneel down with a rose and PROPOSE to his gf to marry him. AHAHAHAHAH
nothing wrong with that, it's just that i thought i only could see this on TV.
and when the GF agreed, she went to toilet, we saw tht guy's face like masam muka d. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! must be start counting d ler..LOLLLL

anyway, NZX is also a nice place to hang out too. it's just that, no air-cond. LOL it's like a open area kinda place, with lotsa stalls selling cool stuff n gadgets. i like the things they sell there, just that...i sweat easily -_- k, these is what i meant by cool stuffs n gadgets. AHHAHAH! anyway, there're more than these larh.mostly also decorative stuff x)

and these are the gifts that we exchanged x) so ngam, we both gave each other pop-up cards. she made mine all by herself, whereas i "customised" hers. LOL!

n of cz, not forgetting the place we sat. x)

next is my 1 Month Old niece!!!
wow, this post is long! but it's cz of the pics la x)

she stared and smiled at meeee LOL ahahah!
and that's Vianne with her mom, my sis x)

n guess who i met that night.

Chinese New Year 2009

so fast, CNY over liao...T.T
i havent had enoughhh...mayb cz i din play any fire crackers?LOL..as usual lah..
feels that i started shopping, cleaning n stuff like..just yesterday..but NO. it's over. xD

didn't do much these CNY, as usual again...ahha! eat, sleep, receive ang paos, visiting, and...GAMBLING. din gamble much too! LOL very kuai this CNY. LOL!! mayb started working d, tend to sayang money more...ahahah

most of the time i was having dinner here n there, lou sang here n there, playing with my NEW BORN niece^^, hanging out at Gwen's place..
snap pics here n there, but not with my family, cz we don't play with cameras over here. LOLLL

the only thing that's different this year during CNY is that my dad, bros n i alone prepared n did all the prayers for Chor Yat n Tian Kong!!! since mom's over sis's place taking care of baby...
it was a tiring, yet funny experience..hahaha 4 ma lat lous dunno how to pray 1...

anyway, let's wish all of us have a fantastically wonderful COW YEAR!!!!!xD

ArtBlog

finally, i took up the semangat to play "more" with a 3D software, ZBrush.

alweh lazy to play with it cz dunno how to kick-start using it..
but 2day downloaded a super duper basic tutorial on how to use the software...
got semangat, i came home and started playing with it...

n here's the outcome of my 1st "playing"..

Gwen named it Rambutan-Man. LOLL can la can laaaa
this is actually very FAST n easy. finished in..30mins? hahahaha cz i keep on redo n redo, spent 2 hours on it..LOL..they call this 3D sculpting x)

while playing around, realise tht i need to see more tutorials..there's alot of time i got stuck, dunno wat to click or how to continue...even render it out also dunno...AHHAHAHA
nvm, try again next time..

2day Tatsun's(my da lao ban) son came into the department to lepak..he's only 13 yrs old...but damn, he's smart wei. LOL betul betul Tatsun punya anak. ahahah
i was sketching on the paper, trying to sketch a Spartan warrior..at the same time, i had a reference on my PC.. that looks like this..

so i was applying tht holes on the mask....on my character's Spartan helmet...
n that smart kid saw n said :

Kid: Why are you appying those holes on your character?
Me : Oh, i'm just adding some design lor, make the helmet look abit different...
Kid : That characrter on ur PC has those holes on his mask so that he can look thru his mask...but ur character doesnt need it..it's not necessary..
Me : (stunned...) hmmm............................... (think very long) ...............true. (malu d)

ahahahaha!! betul betul anak Tatsun..^^
yeap! he got his point! in the end, i erased those holes..lol
some of u might not understand what's happening here, but i learned somehting from here..."anyone could be your teacher." xD

i turned 21, i graduated, i started working, i'm paying for myself, i found her, i'm getting a niece, i directed a fully 3D animated shortfilm, and last but not least i won something.
of cz, i do have my bad n disasterous times, but let us all forget the bad ones and look forward!
every bad, has its good!

Malacca Trip, 20th December 2008
went to Malacca for the weekend with d Lee sisters and their bfs. LOL

thts Xipey, Xiyuen, Xiteng, Jun, Me, n Solou

stayed at Fenix Inn which costs us only rm98 per night/room. it's recommendable. clean and near to everywhere!

1st meal we had, of course, the Chicken Rice Ball. did our research on the net n found out this shop is the best 1. n we queued under the BLARDEE DAMN HOT sun. LOL. the chicken is great anyway x) RM42

for dinner, we went for Satay Celup, also research from the internet. n GOSH. 7pm queued until 8:30pm. from sky is bright till it's dark!
the sauce is special, but then NOT to say VERY nice till must queue till lidat lor....-_-
no "2nd time" value. RM0.70/stick.

the best meal we had during the trip! baba Nyonya food, taste really GREAT. rm92.40 for 6 person. x)

the only time i look serious in the whole trip. LOL
n yes, i rewarded myself a box of brief. xD
it was a great trip, everything was goin smoothly as planned...except for the Eye on Malaysia. can see, but cant reach. LOL the roadsigns in Malacca suxxx

the other day dreamt of..erm...my wedding. AHHAHA
it was a sweet one tho. and weird..
a wedding in a place like..somehow like survivor camp, got river to swim n stuff, people all wearing swimwear, some wearing tux with shorts. LOL

went to office and did a quick sketch n paint just to remind myself the mood and environment.

3DX Festival Singapore Day 2

today is my 2nd day, n also the last day for me in this event x)

in the previous post i said tht the 3D tht we're doing is actually 2D, sorry, i was wrong.
i asked someone today how do they categorize it, the 3D tht we're doing is still 3D, n the other 1 is called as Stereoscopic 3D aka S3D.

the topic for today was mostly about the programmes, projectors n cameras used for making 3D Stereoscopic.
i dn really understand wat they talking about, cz i dont know all these stuff. LOL

but Autodesk gave a sharing on the pipeline in making S3D.
we start our usual pipeline in Maya, then import it into our compositing softwares, like Combustion, n then put it into Autodesk Lustre n done.
k, from wat i heard, for S3D, we need to composite TWICE.....1 for the left eye and 1 for the right eye. n Autodesk Lustre is a software where u work on the S3D editting.
So, it is Maya---->Composite softwares------>Lustre------>render.
i hope i didnt get the wrong message. LOL

then we have sharing from Dan Glickman, Chairman of Motion Picture Association of America(MPAA) and Jim Gianopulous, CEO of 20th Century Fox. * u see how many big time ppl i meet in this event?lol*
k, basically their sharing was basically kinda same as ytrday, about the new film era, Stereoscopic 3D n how is this new era gonna help the world economy, especially at such time. After all, ppl still need entertainment!!!
besides that, Jim showed a very short preview of Titanic 3D!!!!!woo-hooo
guess u all cant wait to c the hand+window part in 3D eh? LOL

there was some discussion n argument on PIRACY n this is a BIG BIG BIG issue in our industry. it's OUR ENEMY! 1 said tht with S3D technology, nobody can do a pirate copy of it. but, he was disagreed by another person saying his new released S3D movie has ben pirated and it has the same 3D effect O_O!!! LOL pirates' technology damn keng also. HAHAHAHA
sooooo the only solution is, consumers, pls pls pls dn buy pirated cds. LOL

ok, thts all about the sharing.
in these 2 days, i had 2 new experience.
1st, imagine....u get to watch Bolt together with the President of Walt Disney inside the same cinema hall. LOL and also watch Journey to the Centre of the Earth with Brendan Fraser too!! LOL it was a good show. alot ppl say Journey was a bad 1, but i don't think so. i watch it in 3D at home...erm..pirate DVD, ahahha! but when i saw it in S3D 2day, it's really really, DIFFERENT. i'd say the director is good. the story isnt draggy, everything was straight forward. i dn feel bored at all. n fyi, i actually dislike adventure movies like this.

2nd experience is watching a U2 concert in cinema. lol.
yes, it's U2-3D. a U2 concert, shot using 3D cameras. and u really feel like u're there in the concert.

Anywya, today i asked someone whether my eye which is cacated will make me being left behind in this new S3D era, and he said : for an animator, story is the most important. nothing to do with 1 eye or 2 eyes.
i was happy to hear that x)

so my fellow CG Artists and animators, let's move on to the new CG era, Stereoscopic 3D!!!

3DX Festival Singapore Day 1

i learned alot from this festival. i meet big people. as in really, really BIG BIG ppl.
Brendan Fraser, i was sitting behind him oni. LOL Jeffrey Katzenberg, CEO of Dreamworks Animation SKG; n Mark Zoradi, President of Walt Disney Studios Film Entertainment.

im gonna share with u what had they said here. it really got me start thinking more deeply in the CG industry in the future and inspired me.

Jeffrey Katzenberg, CEO of Dreamworks Animation SKG -
The film industry is turning into 3D. Dreamworks Animation are all gonna start producing in 3D starting from year 2009, Monsters VS Aliens.
His 3D doesnt mean those 3D stuff tht we did n produce in Maya n all, but the 3D tht u need to watch with the special glasses. The 3D that we're all doin now in Maya is consider as 2D. haha
He said, in 7-8 years from now u will see all movies in 3D. From films,to TV series, dramas, ADs and so on. Being asked y is he so sure bout that, he said : when movie 1st started in many many many years ago, there's only pictures, but no sound. n Later on, there's sound. movies without sound were left-out. After that, colors were added. Then B&W movies were left-out. n Later on, 2D(the Maya 1) was created. n now, ppl wanna feel the movie, ppl wanna be in the movie. and 3D was created, sooner or later, the films u'reall watching now will be left-out as well...
1 day, 3D glasses would be a fashion trend. Everyone will own a 3D glasses that can be use as sunglasses when u're outside.
He then showed a lil bit of Monsters VS Aliens in 3D. it's more than the trailer u saw in cinemas. Nobody have seen it b4, besides the ppl in Dreamworks of course.
Basically he's trying to tell us to start making 3D movies. the CG world is changing. u can watch 3D from IMAX, cinemas or even, AT HOME. this is the important thing i take note of. x)
he also showed an 3D Animated film which will be release in 2009, Coraline. guess what, it's from the creator of Nightmare Before Christmas!!! MUST WATCH.

Mark Zoradi, President of Walt Disney Studios Filmed Entertainment -
He said, when we make a film, STORY is very important. ppl always go for story story story story but that is not wrong. but now, d demand has changed. start thinking bout story story technology technology. demand is high now,ppl wanna experience the movie. From motion pictures, now is EMOTION pictures. *wow,i love this statement*
He didnt talk much, but he SHOWED alot of Disney Pixar's future films' trailers. There's Beauty n The Beast 3D, Tron 3D, Toy Story 1 2 3 in 3D, Boltz 3D, Up 3D, GForce 3D, Cars 3D, and some concept arts for Alice in Wonderland by Tim Burton and the Christmas Carol. ALLL these, none in the world has seen it b4. n another privilege, they showed Bolt 3D, the whole movie. it's not release anywhere in the world yet. haha! it's nice tho, LET IT BEGINNNNN!!!!

after all these, i guess u all know what this festival is for right? TIME TO CHANGE TO 3D!!!
n this is where a BIG question appear in me. how am i gonna watch? i got 1 eye cannot see 1. n 3D needs both eyes for the glasses. hhahahah! no answer still. LOL nvm, ill stick to 2D larh. xD

planning on a new shortfilm, n this is a render test to make myself feel the mood. LOL
this is still WIP, work in progress...done during free-time in office x)
will add on more details later on..now let u c ABIT ABIT 1st. ahhaha

3D Bites : A Shortfilm Competition

a competition organised by Autodesk and ACA Pacific and the event was today, at Avenue K, Quattro.

Team 4+1 took the chance to enter this competition.. a team consisting of 4 guys and 1 girl..

we started 2gether as the left-outs in class. when we group ourselves together, we knew, this is gonna be real hard. cz we're considered the weakest team among all. we don't have someone who's really strong in art or technical in the group...all of us are just...normal. but this doesnt bring down our team spirit.

we came out with a concept and characters

we started off with a story and Chris made changes on it until the whole thing gets reallly complicated and harder to do...LOL. we kinda lost faith in ourselves tht moment. thanks to Seng Han, we got a new idea. same characters, same concept, but new story. and it's like..few more days left to present the storyboard to Chris...

so we came up with the new idea and proposed to Chris. he doesnt advise us to do so at 1st, cz we dn have the time...but i promised him that we sure will vomit it out for him 1. we had a war for the whole night...and we showed him wat we promised...x)
our spirit was building back up edi this time...
then we had another war again another night for the final animatic presentation. tht 1..we vomit blood. AHAHAHAH

but, we screwed that presentation up. we kena bad comments and feedbacks from the people we presented it to. we were the worst again. LOL
nvm, we moved on with what we have and c what can we do in 3D stage.

after seeing the 3D characters we start to feel the film already. our spirit grew again. but we still lack of an ending. we do not know how to end the story...lotsa ideas we came up with, but it sounds..just not the right one.

after seeing the entire rendered still mood of the background, we totally feel the whole film already. we were on high spirit that time. so eager to c the final outcome...
we started together, worked on it together, finished it together,

and finally, we won together... x)

believe it anot, we did not have any conflicts among ourselves throughout the whole project...we're very straight forward. we always have an open discussion to voice any unhappiness in the team. i LOVE this team. x) even if we didnt win this, i still love this team. you guys feel me, i know. hahaha

here, i take the chance to congrat Zhi Kyu's team, Samuel's team and also Junn Tseng's team x)
for ur info, The One Academy's team all were shortlisted in the Top 5 and 1st 2nd 3rd place were sweeped by us. i am truly proud of The One Academy and thank God i didn't go to the wrong place. x)

Loving Halloween
final project is DONE!!!! oh yeah!!
it will be shown in The One Academy Gallery starting next week, together with other finalk animation projects of other groups!
tho, still need to refine abittt, but we're refining it for industry ppl to c, as for public, we're showing what we've done already x)

yea i know, i said it's gonna be done like..months n months agooo..but..i purposely wait it out for Halloween 1. acheh... hahhaha

i actually dn plan to blog, cz i dunno wat to say/write..but jz a couple of minutes ago while i was browsing thru my graduation pics, seeing myself in the graduation robe, i realised...

"this graduation is not really bout the 3 years in The One Academy..it's about..my FOURTEEN YEARS in studying, classrooms, schools, books and all that!!!"

1st is UPSR, i've spent 6 years in primary school..
2nd is PMR and SPM, i've spent 5 years in secondary school..
last but not least, it's Diploma, and i've spent 3 years in college..
and that's it!! done! BOH LIAO!!! wuahahahah!!
i believe, each and everyone of us, sure went thru a thought of "jior...when am i gonna finish studying arh????" when we're studying for exams n all rite? ahahha

yea, diploma oni ma..ahahah!!but in my field, i dont think cert is important. and i'm not planning to further my studies tho..
my point here is..I'VE FINALLY FINISH STUDYING. LOLLLL

remembering all the times when i'm still in primary school, still super kiddy, dunno what is future and all that..all in my mind is friends and play. muahahah

then remembering all the times when i'm in secondary, a teenager already, kinda worried of what i'm gonna do in future and studied like others did cz i dont wanna feel left out from those smart fcukers among my best friends..HAHAHA
all in my mind that time was still friends, play, and paktor.LOL

and finally, remembering the times in The One Academy, young adult already..start thinking of future goal, who i want to be, how am i gonna be who i want, and how am i gonna survive in this society. of cz, friends play, party and paktor is still in my mind. xD

1st i'm gonna COMPLAIN bout my job, then a HILLARIOUS experience my fren just gone thru, and a SWEET thing Gwen gave me x) *anger>humour>romance* LOL

basically, i'm quitting my job x) why?
1st of all, things doesnt turn out the way i expected from the beginning. If i am to go to work nearly everyday, i'd rather join a proper animation studio out there which i'd love to. I don't quite enjoy doing motion graphics FYI. i'm doin this at 1st just for the sake of extra income cz i had some struggling moment at that time, and thought it was a somehow like a freelance thingy...
but it's not like wat i thought and told somehow. So, i decided to quit n join an animation studio that i like. i somehow lose trust already -_-

a fren of mine just got chased by cops today. ahahah!! this is funny.
he said he drove thru the red light, and a police car was coming from the other direction. (i can imagine the whole scene) LOL
he didn't stop his car n he looked back, the police was making a U-Turn already. and he start speeding off, thought he has some time to outrun the cops. LOL
made some wild turns n all, but the cop was pretty fast tho and they caught up to him, and start turning on the siren and flashed him. no choice, he have to stop.
surprisingly, the cops didnt ask him why did he run, just ask y went thru red light, study where, live where, parents work as what, berapa ribu he has wif him now n all..-_-
then he started bullshitting his dad is a clerk, works in PJ..kenot saman..cz if his dad knows, will beat him up..he got no money..HAHAHAHA!!! n he got away with it, no saman, no bribe. LOL gam du dak.

quite awhile ago, while i was still after her, we were talking bout ppl changing bf/gf like changing shoes lidat..and i asked her to get me a shoe brand name Gwen. *yeap, a lame way to confess* haha! but somehow we skipped tht topic and didnt mention bout it already..
ytrday, went out wif her..while sending her back, tht siao poh suddenly turn behind the car n ask silly question "eh?y u put ur umbrella behind?" then start shifting th umbrella around. i was like.."huh?" then when i got home, she told me she left her shoes in my car n i thought she really did. HAHA! so i went searching for it...as usual, usually search for shoes under the seat 1 ma...
then she say its NOT under the seat. it's behind the seat. where u put books or magaxines inside 1...and yeap, ther's a small little Shoe Keychain inside. LOL n she said thats the shoe i was asking for.
well, i was touched seriously. haha i didnt expect her to remember that SHOE thingy cz everytime when i remind her bout something she say she forgotten it edi 1. ahah

Lately..
baru-baru ini, banyak! busy wif work... -_-
especially last week..from monday to saturday. GOSH
last week had soft launch for the GOssip Event that the company is working on...

that's Hannah Yeoh, ADUN of Subang Jaya...right? ahaha sorry, i suck in politics. LOL btw, i also dunno wat's her role in this event. not very clear bout those.

then QnA session...that guy's my boss Bernard Hor. screening of the event's opening video...spent 2weeks on this thingy -_-.

then were asked to go for Latte @ 8 season2 at pyramid's starbucks the other day..to take Jason Lo's pic..cz he, together with Hannah Tan and Suki are the role models for this event..

that's Jason Lo, Malaysian artist from Sarawak. his songs are nice tho x)

Just Another Phase

currently, i'm already working and STILL doing the final project...LOL
now in the rendering stage as well as some refinements..i'd say..approximately 20% more to go..xD

i'm happy indeed, cz 2day my group members showed our latest progress to our lecturer.
fyi, it's been awhile since we've shown our work to this lecturer...cz his expectation very high 1....we dn dare show. HAHA
surprisingly, he was fine with it...just a lil bit changes. i wanna tk the opportunity here to tell my group members, all of u have done a good job. and sorry if there's anything that u beh song wif me. muahaha...

aside from this project, i've started working already..due to situations that can't be avoided.
just 2weeks of working only, i've start to understand how my friends feel when it's a FRIDAY and weekend. hahaha it's like...TERM BREAK wei. LOL

yo, long time no update..especially update on TRIP xD
went to Langkawi on 23rd June 2008 with a bunch of...cisin ppl.
they are, YewJin, Josh, Kah Heng, Darren, Pinky and Andrea...all from IACT...and yes, i'm the outsider, from TOA...ahahha
it's a 4days 3nights trip.
4 days in Langkawi...man, wat can we do???? wat else...DRINK,EAT,SLEEP,BEACH. xD

Day 1
flight delayed for 3 damn hours. and we failed to fight for our RM200 vouchers.
reached Langkawi, rented an Innova...this is funny...we "keng sou" wif the rental fella..

We : Eh bang, kenapa itu ekzos ada air keluar??
Rental Man : OH!! ini macam means kereta BEST CONDITION!!!

LOL!!!! halo...wanna bluff also use brain la tiu...
head to Duty Free Shop in Kuah for supply...hehehe and then head to our room at Best Star, Pantai Cenang..

our beloved messy room in Best Star...it's even messier in the toilet..HAHA sorry guys.
went to beach, fighting against the waves, burrying human alive, kap luis, and then went makan Thai food. it's the best meal of the whole trip x)

went back and time to drink!!

Day2
got up with a bad headache..went KFC makan and had our screening there..video of wat happened last night. LOL.
then went to beach again..this time i jz lepak by the seaside, dn feel like getting myself wet. but when i see the others macam having fun catching crab...i joined in. haha
at night, went to this happening place called Reggae Bar, thanks to Pinky x)
we really enjoyed ourself there and the band playing is awesomee...

after all the fun, went back to the beach around midnight..and yea, my nightmare of CRAB begins here....LOL
blasting the iPOD, lying on the mat with snacks and beer, listening to the sound of waves is like..heaven. ahah but WHEN!!! Steve YewJin the Crab Hunter is around...is a spoiler. ahahah!

basically, didnt do much...all of us slept till 6pm. AHHA!! me and Josh got up around 2pm, syok sendiri go rent 2 motorbikes, went back room and continue to sleep. LOL

went to another beach which is much nicer and played volleyball with another group of people...it was great!

wanna save time, duwanna shower 1 by 1, we showered 2gether using the pipe outside our room. LOL. this isnt the gay-est pic of the trip btw. ahah
after that bought a Dewars and drinking session again after dinner. LOL
this time, YewJin and Darren went DOWN! AHAHAHAH altho d result isnt as bad as mine..

of cz, i wont miss out the chance of taking picture with the KO Yewjin...this is rare stuff. LOL
Darren pulak..sleeping nicely..suddenly half way wake up and bising :

Day4
a day, where im so CONFUSE. SO CONFUSE BOUT THE TIME.
since the 3rd Day, i was living an hour ahead of everyone...Darren changed the time on my watch, my handphone, and even the car that we rented. all my time sources were changed. and they were telling me Langkawi is a Mad Island...730pm d..the sky still so bright..HAHA but i didnt pay attention on that. LOL
until the time we're about to leave, our flight departing at 11pm..
i was rushing everyone in the airport but they still lepak lepak, taking their own sweet time...got time go see fish summore...ahahah sit down at Starbucks enjoying their coffee...WTF.
n they ask me chill, say that they will give a last call b4 the plane tk off...so i TRIED to chill with them la...
until.....an announcement saying plane is taking off at 1050pm....and i looked at my watch, 1115pm.
i was like "FUCK. lets go d la..dn chill d la please la..i need to go back KL la.." yes, acting like a fool in front of everyone..ahahahah
and they finally told me that they had changed my time...FUCK ALL OF YOU wei. ahahahahah

here it is! the final poster for d short animated film that we've been working on all these while, and we're STILL working on it. -_-

3 Years
just finished refining my Box for exhibition. but i don't think it's presentable yet, at the same time, i dare not fix it cz im afraid would make it worse. lol
tried to sleep, but I can't tho I know tmr's gonna be a loooong day as d PR team need to send invitation for exhibition to 40 different companies in KL, Cheras, Cyberjaya, Sunway, PJ. hailat-ness.

as i shut my eyes, things are flashing in my mind, from final project to future, to family, to friends, to what I've gone thru these past 3 years.

flash flash flash, and i thought, "well, let me blog bout these, as it has been a long time since i've blog something lidat." I remember there're ppl commented on few of my very old posts that they're inspiring and stuff. well, let's see this time it'll be inspiring anot. *i'm not lansi-ing arh* LOL

b4 i start, lemme say a lil bit bout the Box 1st. it's a project given for exhibition purpose.
basically we need to do somehting like an installation art in the box, and tell the people the journey of what we went thru these 3 years.

surprisingly, a box of 16 X 14 (inch) isnt enough to fit my 3years journey; instead, a screen of 19 X 10 (inch) is more than enough to fit everything O_0. haha.
i just have alot to say.

CAUTION : THIS IS GONNA BE A SUPER LONG POST.

1st of all, let's get back to the time I get out of high school. I know what I like, and what I want. I like CG art, and I want to do CG art. I like to see a character that I design, alive and moving. I don't care which institute I should go to cz I believe everywhere's the same. It all depend on urself whether you'll be good or not if u go to that institute.
But art & design is a very expensive course. especially animation. my family couldn't afford it. I need to go form6, and enter local Uni.

of cz, i dont want that. no choice, i need to find a solution and lucky, i stumbled upon an article from the newspaper about full scholarship in The One Academy (nvr heard b4). without 2nd thought, i went and apply for it, went interview, and Thank God, here i am now. my family was so shocked cz I didnt tell them bout the application. LOL.
THAT'S! when i learn "Where there's a will, there's a way." and i continue living on this phrase...

entered college, aside of the skills and knowledge that i'd gained, EXPERIENCE is the thing that i hunger most. and the best thing that i've been granted upon entering this college, are my fellow FRIENDs (arh, u all reading this dn geli geli arh..LOL)

In these 3 years, i've met alot of different different people. weirdos, gays, les, nerds, sohais, leng zais, leng luis, whoever, you name it. and I get to know, this world really wat type of people also got 1.

In these 3 years, I've been cheated in a relationship and even tried a so-called "commit suicide" shit which is so damn stupid and funny when i think back. LOL. and then had a car crash, and ended up being a smoker from a non-smoker.
not that serious after all, as from these, i realised how much my family cared for me when the accident happens. besides, i get to experience a near-to-death thingy with my high school friends!!! hahaha!! (sean, ckeat and nic...CHI KEK RITE????)
and I learned, when you lost something, you'll find something....every bad, has it's good.
I might have crashed d car, but i saved a dog's life. not that bad after all. lol

In these 3 years, I learn the feeling of DRUNK. not high, but real wasted kinda DRUNK. thanks to YewJin, who intro me to the world of alcohol and drunkards. i also learned a few places where you can get cheap beers. and place where you can get high 12% of alcohol beers. from Sakara to San Miguel, to Bear beer. again, you name it. LOL

In these 3 years, I learned that working in a team isnt easy. You have to be really open-minded to accept all critiques and different opinions from members. And i realise, the work might be important, but what comes 1st is always ur members. and slowly, i became soft-hearted and didnt scold any of my members anymore...but now lecturer complain say i'm not pushy and fierce enuff. -_____- paiseh paiseh, for this part, i'm still learning to be a good leader.

In these 3 years, I learned to fall and stand, fall and stand, and fall and stand again and again. I learn not to give up easily, start loving to do the impossible, take up challenges, appreciate any single chance that is available, and start to believe in "Anything can happen."

I used to feel "chi pei" when i see my classmates' work posted up on the wall, in the gallery and stuff..and my kiasu-ness pushed and motivate myself to be like them 1 day. but everytime when i reach their level, they got better summore. so i have to keep pushing. good ma lidat, got challenge. lol!
owh, before that you know why my figure sketches where nvr posted on the wall b4? wanna c my figure sketch again? drink water 1st b4 u see it.

nah! there you go-------- xDDD

In these 3 years, I start to enjoy making ppl happy. seeing them happy and enjoying themselves makes myself happy too. tht's why, i enjoy organising and planning trips for them. sometimes, a person's smile can really make my day.

In these 3 years, I learn to differentiate lust, crush and love. I found out that when ure in love with someone, you would do wateva just to see tht person. you would do wateva just to earn a smile from tht person. even when you're doing something u hate to do, you'll still enjoy doing it. even just a "hi" from that person can make ur heart go thumping like crazy.
but in these 3 years, I also learned, to let go. x)

In these 3 years, I've lost 2 close relatives. my uncle and my grandma. one i only can hear from the phone, and one, i watched her till the very last breathe she left. I thought, the lost of grandma would make the whole family separated as everyone wont be having gathering anymore. instead, the family relationship gets even bonder than ever. we learn to appreciate one another and gather every single weekend. we drink, eat, karaoke, keng kai, shop, and movies.
I also start to open up myself to the family a lil bit more already. haha!
from these, i learned that "Things happen for a reason."

In these 3 years, I've made a bunch of good friends, I've lost some good friends, I've been hated by a bunch of good friends and nearly lost all of them, and I even fell in and out of love with a good friend. haha.these people might not be the one who gave me life, but they are the ones who added life, into my life. LOL. em..so now i got em..alot of lives. haha LAME.anyway, they're a bunch of crazy, wacky, drunky, supporty, spicy and nicy people x)

Now i'm wondering, what my journey will be like in the next 3 years? It's another new world to me now. The working world. The world where you have more concerns coming your way. more responsibility to be taken care of. and more different people you will meet. and more careful you will be. it's a battlefield out there cz, anything can happen.
1 thing i'm pretty sure that i MUST learn in the coming 3 years: SAVE MONEY and STOP SPENDING like nobody's business!!!!!

Genting
habis larhhh...y i went n sleep so longg..it's 2am, n i jz woke up. -_-

few days back suddenly had a random trip to Genting wif Gwen n her kawans..
at 1st thought of goin Frasers, but ended up nobody knows the right way there..
i tak kenal anyone else already, except for Gwen n Carrere. at 1st kinda sesat, but slowly gt used to it edi la.

so Gwen drove 7 manusia up there, and Thank God, i'm still here blogging. Omitofo..

the very attraction in Genting that day, the VIP cars..all Lambo..think there're nearly 10 of them there.
chik chak here n there, then played some indoor games, Bumper Car n Roller Coaster..
since we're waiting for d owner of d apartment we're staying to arrive, we continued to lepak lepak.
then went for lunch at Canton Bay (if i'm not mistaken). arh, i miss the black pepper chicken chop riceee since i only ate abit tht day due to no APPETITE. -_- nvm nvm, can thin.

Team Spirit
here's another sharing on the final project that i'm working on now..
nth much to blog bout my daily life larh, or prolly i would say my work is my life for now..LOL

this is 1 of the interior part of the museum that we used to for lighting test today, done by KaiKeat with help from lecturer. i don't know bout you, but I, definitely am happy with it. x) well done. probably could make the mood slightly cooler i guess...

this, is just a test render to see what happens if we place the character inside the interior. can be better still, i'd say..u might find the place is very empty, cz we haven place the museum props/display items inside yet.

and here, finally!! are the characters for the short animation : Little Thief, Chinese Vampire, and Dracula. mmm somehow, still feel the charcaters not "dirty" enuff...look very clean, unnatural. gotta continue working on it! n if u wonder, why are theirs hands all lifted up 90degree; it's just to make things easier for us to do in the next step, which is skeleton rigging & paintweight.

from today's progress i thought...yes, we're slower than the timeline given..but..there's something coming out already..not to say we didn't do the work...but d group still lack of sumthg.
which is Team Spirit.

I could see everyone's working on their own but not as a team. wat we do is just c each other in class, then tell them what i wanna c d next class, how i wan it to be n bla bla bla. go home, everyone do their part, then show again the next class. it's good to c everyone doin their part..but we lack of the togetherness i'd say. LOL
aside from working 2gether, we lack of OUTING together. i think the group needs this man.

recently i join few of the member for movie, makan bla bla bla..i start to understand them more..like wat kinda style they're comfortable with..and also how they see things. sad eh? as their leader for like...5months..now only i get to see all these.haha
but it's nvr too late! i guess, i need to organise some shit for the group edi..go museum ke, Ikea ke, movie ke, Lagoon ke...mana-mana larh! mesti berbonding-bonding edi LOL.

dn u think that his songs are great? they're so different from the other many chinese songs out there. other chinese songs all just sound the same.
thru the years, and many recent albums tht he came out, i started to "not so like" him already. i even nearly decide not to go for the concert. THANK GOD, i didnt changed my mind x)

the concert was soooo awesome!
i went for the rockzone tho, together wif Belle, Ningli, Uchin, WengYan and Ning's cousin; which is the rm168 zone. went there like..3hrs earlier to queue up like a sohai with the other crazy Jay fans and it was darn hot okayy.
n really zha dou when we get into the stadium, Rockzone isn't tht rock after all. it's not packed or wat also..we're all standing comfortably with "freedom". no pushing or watsoever. but the seating zone were all full i can say.

Nan Quan Mama are the guest artist that day. don't really fancy/know them la. but i definitely know LARA now. wooooo! xD n can u believe, they had a Piano Battle like the one in Secret on stage. awesome-ness.

after 2nd encore, he appear with another Curse Of Golden Flower theme song, the "fuo fuo fuo fuo fuo fuo!!!" or watever...and ended the concert with the original Shuang Jie Gun~~
of cz, not to forget the amazing fireworks during his concerts. I oni have a shot on that from Ivy.

The Making?
sedang buat Dracula's modelling, n do do do, time to sleep. CANNOT sleep..
continued doing doing doing until fak man zhang d. n lost the mood.

wat im gonna show today is final project's production stage. erm..a small part of it actually..
cz there's still MORE to go.
since tak boleh tidor n no mood, i played around with wat i did just now..

1st of all, this is 1 of the character in our final project, Dracula (pls give him a name)
this is the Model Sheet, aka Orthographic Sketch where there's front,side and back views of the character
there're 3 characters in the film, 3 person will model 1 character each and I got Dracula's model sheet... SHIT.
ahaha..i like his character anyway. YAO YENG.

so i'll take the model sheet, scan it, and put it into Maya and start "tracing".
problems i faced modelling him is, the cape and the BLARDEE hairS. tu-kao-lan arh!!

and so, here's the outcome! x) it's not complete yet tho, there's are more details to be add on later..and the textures that i'm using are just simple ones..later gonna do kao kao 1, as in semi-realistic..since we're following Tim Burton's art style -_- tough...tough...
at d moment i can't guarantee we can do exactly same style, but YEAH! we'll do our best x)

after texture, then gonna put "skeletons" in him, make diff facial expressions, rigging, n when everything's done, including the background modelling+texturing, and off!! we animate. xD
then composite all scenes 2gether and add on effects that we need, render the whole blardee thingy and FINALLY--------------------SHOWTIMEEE~~ xD

i did the booking for train to Kelantan. n it says depart at 2030 (24hours system)

and God knows HOW, i went n tell everyone the train departs at 10.30PM.

how? i bodoh lor...DUNGU lor...yaya...WATEVER!!!!! LOLx

n luckily, there's a bus still available to Kelantan during tht tragic time. haha!

n guess wat, that bus is FUCKING AWESOME!!! ahhaha!!

the very 1st meal we had there, Nasi Lemak. AWFUL 1. yeah, EVRYTHING's AWFUL. HAM PA LANG!!!!!! haha! watery rice..urgghh...

basically, there's no celebration for New Year's Eve in Kelantan...we'd expected that, so we memang planned to celebrate it among ourselves x)

but we really had alot of laughters, n erm...not too bad punya Teriyaki+Honey BBQ larh. ahhaa

went back to KL by train, yes, this time I c the time correctly...n we spent fcking 16hrs in the train. i'd say i've slept all over Malaysia d. the train actually went from Kelantan(north) to Johor(south) then only to KL. btw, it's an experience! for me larh.

i had alot of new experiences during this trip. i flied a kite, i slept in a long running train, n oh yeah, i ate beeeeees....er, BEE i mean. no S. ahaha! belut also makan, Cow Jump also makan.

i miss Elaine n Sam. ahahaha!!

a tribute for My Chemical Romance's concert at Stadium Merdeka on d 9th of December. LOLx

it was drizzling that day and everyone rocked under the rain!!the crowd was amazing, as in the number of crowd..but then...i'd say that they're very oraganised and ber-moral? no pushing, all queued up nicely and stuff..to me d crowd's kinda dead la. no umphhh!

bout the concert, i think it ended kinda fast lor...when they end, to me is like "eh?macam baru nak start saje..." n nobody shouting for "WE WANT MORE!!!" also. boring die larh the crowd!!
somehow dont feel like im at a concert also..is more like a show/performance.
jz feel diff from Linkin Park n Simple Plan's concert i went last time...
n i dn relli know all of MCR's songs...ahah! paiseh...some songs i was like "eh Abby, wat song is this?"

8TV Trip

here's a lil sharing on the 8TV trip my class went on Thursday.. x)

2 days ago, lim peh went 8TV station under class's field trip...not very bad, but quite..sien. not as interesting as i expected.

this is HotFM's studio, where the DJs will be inside there entertaining radio listeners..i like tht room tho, hawt colorr.

whole group came over to for animatic editting cz ive got no car 2day x)

went to coll an hour earlier 2day, cz havto go bank b4 it close.
after bank, dunno wat to do, ended up chilling at Ming Tien ALONE x(
n there's 2 guys aka MA LAT LOUs sitting beside my table and OMG la itu orang. memalukan kaum lelaki oni.
1 of them, i thk age 26-30 larh, a Chinese bastard. he speaks hokkien and speaks as if his dad owns the world lidat.

here goes: his conversations in Hokkien..

1) he double parked his car (still got space for d car he blocked to come out), n when d other car was reversing out, he was yelling "careful arh! can go out rite? dn scratch my car!!" (he's oni driving d new Camry, not Fairlady,BMW, or Mercs also)

2) he cursed 1 of the Ming Tien uncle go die n say "if u dn die, how the Coffin Shop gonna have business??" <---this is kinda funny to me btw. ahah!
n then he said to tht uncle, if he's driving a Wira, better dont drive.

3) every girl/lady pass by, his eyes LOCKED on them,especially their ass..its normal for guys,i do tht too sumtimes,haha!
but..he did it ALL the time n VERY OBVIOUS. then he told his fren "if wind blow or tht girl falls arh..fuiyo!!free show" LOUDLY, in hokkien...u can imagine how hamsap the tone is.

Christopher, u no UNDERSTANDING that we're doin this animation in MAYAAA...not just go outdoor and shoot.
we need to model characters, texture, model the cities/towns, buildings, character rigging n last but not least, ANIMATE it. then he suggested thunderstorm scenes la, all those kao kao 1..
n we're like O_O!!! wah kih siao..but seriously, we suka his ideas and suggestions.

so everytime when i draw the storyboard, i will think bout Maya part, n i played safe. dare not go too far.
so when we do our PRE-ENTATION to him, he ALWEH reject. He sees the 1st page, then gave us ideas to change it n all...then.after change, the whole story at the pages behind no use edi. cz no link wif the new idea. which also means, RE-DO.
i think..overall, now we have 4 Versions of the story edi. LOLx
n then, from 2 characters, now we have 4 characters jor. sei kan.
luckily 2day, he LO-PROBREM with our latest storyline xD but effect kao kao 1.
but nvm, we'll do it! hopefully it'll turn out as nice as we imagine la.

just got the movie file from Samuel for the hang Tuah project.
it's a 3D competition held by MSC to promote Malaysian Folkstale, so they gave a few topics for costentant to choose n d group chose Hang Tuah.
it doesnt matter how many ppl u have in a group, 1 also can, as long as u design minimum 5 characters for the story in 2D n 3D form.

v started dividing d group into 2 teams:-
2D artists - Kobe, Boon Chee, Martin n myself
3D artists - Samuel, Jeff n KK

i'm relli impressd with the outcome btw. franly speaking, i admit i actually dn relli follow up this project closely cz of conflicts.
i guess, in d group, i did the least. summore im d one who brought everyone 2gether n decide to join this competition...yea, shit happens, v cant c wat's in d future..
all i did was just sketches, colors and clothes design n textures.

as for the others, they realli did a great job n effort x)

recently im into editting picturesss wuahaha!! oh, n of cz, drama
thanks to my sis n yian yian, i NEED to dl new brushes n fonts for my pathetic Photoshop.

have been doing namecard n logo design for sis, n poster design for yian yian

at 1st i thought "nah, this is not my thing...character design, animation all can larh..but these, i doubt..."

since im so free this hol, i ma help out lor..dunno y i so good..i usually do things when there's "cheok sou" for me,when im in d mood, or if i thk i can manage..wuahahah.. mayb i change edi?ehehe but still, im a lazy mutha fcka.

i enjoy doing these anyway. like just randomly use the brushes n hentam here hentam there...not nice, just Ctrl-Z larh. still not nice, Ctrl+Alt-Z lorh. wuahahha. syok sendiri.

this brochure is called "Buku Panduan Pelancongan KLANG" ahahha!! i was like o_O?? Klang?? wat to lancong??? n it's quite thick summore u know??!! aahahha!!

so i had a look at it..got pictures of old buildings, Royal Palace, temples,map n some histories la. i also dunno wats Klang's History..there's also a section saying "Syurga Makanan". ahaha!

of coz, there's a full page for Bak Kut Teh. it says:

HOLIDAY

yes,it's holiday finally, but i don't feel it at all.

i used to LOVE holidays especially during my 1st year but then now kinda...immune to it already..

mayb cz last time right after last day of class, v would all go wild till next morning or even till d holiday's over..but now, v seldom practise that anymore. sad huh? everyone grow up d la. ahah

for this term, i'd say it's rather free and easy, compared to the previous 1..Christopher's class, cant expect much. ahha.

n i dont feel anythg new in this term..mayb cz v din learn anything new or different for this term, besides SEA culture larh. all i can say, this term feels dull. lifeless.

for me, i'd say this term ended badly in terms of personal matters. for my grades, i'll cross my fingers n pray hard that i'll pass. ahakz xD

was kinda bored after back from coll, jz thought of clearing up sum stuff la..

Zhing san sai!!! after few hours of hibernation due to the kitchen war i had yesterday..wuahaha
there's this competition held in conjunction with the movie Ratatouille, where you gotta design a ideal kitchen and it has to be practical and functional. damn yim chim rite? ahah
so, i joined. xD

this is the movie im talking about. but.....June 29????? O_o huh??

actualllyyyyy (since it's August, gonna use Malaysian icon like Hitz.FM. wuahah!) so actualllyyyy i tried painting it in photoshop..but!!!!basicalllyyyyy it doesnt look nice! perspective out n all..color also...urhh...n i lost my mood, n everything in continuing. the i went tidor. x

got up next day, n another day is already the dateline...n i reconsider, wanna continue?

n i decided to continue. so i re-design the sketch again n bla bla bla...n off, started doing. but this time no more photoshop, i used Maya. dis is relli crazy. 1 day left and i plan to do in 3D, everyone's saying im crazy. kenot make it 1. no time. i also thought so, but i just give it a shot la..

so, this is it...basicallllyyyy~~i sat in front of the PC from 2pm - 3am..without moving my arse. pang sai also no time arh i tell u.

so, this is my advanced-technology kitchen!! not relly high tech la, but nearly everything this kitchen is computerised and u can control them from d pillar looking thingy in d middle there. tht's the only high-tech thing there. ahaha! others all looks normal kan? but that's on purpose cz i thought if i design a relli kao kao complicated computerised stuff like Transformers, it would confuse ppl.

i was quite satisfied with the outcome after i rendered it BUT!!!!! after printing it, it's a diff story...the color aint tht accurate from wat i see in the PC..n i oni can hand-in that printed 1. I used a Tiff file format..so it has got nothign to do wif CMYK or RGB mode...d printing fella also told me kenot be 100% same 1..aihhz

apa macam? sei lor... this 1 oni God can help me d la..ahah

though it is done, i already let off 1 problem, but dont feel good cz i failed to paint it in 2D cz lack of skills...urrggg!!!

was having fun, playing wif facial expression of my character model..
but when comes to animate it, gosh...can die arh. was stuck n i gave up, duwanna do, went to sleep.

lying on d bed..iskk..feel tak puas, feel guilty..got up n tried again.
n yeapp!! successful! wuahahaha!!!

actually quite simple oni, but i go think until damn complicated. -_-

blardee Maya actually faced fatal error 3 damn times n i gotta redo it, 3 damn times too.

anyway, this isnt d final 1..we're suppose to do lip sync for the character..but now is just showing their experssions n all larh..

so v're suppose to show = very angry, shouting very loud, big smile, sad, and very shock expressions..

then v gotta look at ourselves in d mirror n buat larh all those muka lawak + extreme

n then touch ur face, n feel where the muscles n bones are..

v actually need to adjust each n every part of d faces 1 by 1 to make a relli convincing expression.

for example: 1 model for left eye blink, 1 model for right eye blink then mouth la, nose la,cheek la, eyebag la..
altogether i got 12 models...i heard Chris did 30 models...SIAO 1. ahaha!

yes, it's Vampire again! wuahaha!!

basically each group come out wif their own storyline thn character design n background design.

so my group's story is base on Keong Si (Chinese Vampire)..

since after those old chinese movie, v dn relli hear about Keong Si stories anymore, so i thought of bringing this up in our story.

1stly, biar aku intro character character for the story:

these are d color thumbs i did jz now, n as u can c, there're 3 main characters in d story, a Taoist, a young vampire n an old vampire. haven think of their name yet..cz i dunno chinese, kinda hard to think for chinese names. LOL

so, if u guys can help me, by all means, go ahead. ahaha!! oh, no more Xiao Xue, Ah Zhe n all..PLEASE

d story's bout a small Vampire Village, setting in China of course.

it's a peaceful village n all the villagers are these Keong Si(s) n they live in harmony, happy family n bla bla bla. they dont harm human.

but then, human are afraid of these vampires n wanna get rid of their village, so they sent this very cinkak Taoist to go hapuskan them.

in d village, there's d old vampire, who's like the oldest,with his grandson, the young vampire. trying to protect d village from that Taoist.

so these vampires are very good in martial arts lor. the Taoist also good in martial arts,but not so keng la. but he got those bomoh magic n jampi all larh. so, he's quite hard to dikalahkan. ahaha!!

as for the young vampire, he's very mischievous but his kung fu is d best in d village.

so in this story, human are the bad character n vampires are the good ones.

came up wif this story also wanna create awareness among us on how selfish we are, destroying other habitats like forests, river for our own sake.

well, all these sounds childish huh? but thats my assignment la. u relli gotta think every single storyline detail to bring up the characteristics and mood, so u can design properly.

now next step is design the village's background..got disco, pub, mamak, restaurant n all 1..dn play play..ahahah!! concept of design is, coffin. x)

guess thats it!

still got 3 hrs++ to class...urggg

woke up at 730am to go renew my license...*yawn*

finally got the pics of Cherating camping! x)
those who went were Jeff, Raymond, Sushi, Nelson, William, Tsae Yen, Marcus and I. it was a "selamba" plan to go there--
camped at a beach, lupa the name edi, but it's a clean BEACH.

saw the sea and thought can terus dash in, but still got work to do---set up the tents.it took us some time to set up...wat to do, no exp. -_-
they also got horse riding services.

night time, BBQ time!!! sambil makan, sambil tell ghost stories---
kinda potong-stim..cz like when kan cheong part of the story, suddenly someone will shout "EH EH!!PASS ME THE HOTDOG!!", "AIYA,FIRE NOT STRONG LIAO!!" -_-

after makan, had a stroll along the beach n i enjoyed this the most!!! the sand is soooo soft and cold, can feel ur feet standing on some cloud..like the Sun Wukong's cloud...
then lied down on the sand, watch the skies n the stars are so darn clear..
believe it or not, i saw shooting star..but VERY FAST no more d. dn say making a wish, even u wanna "EH???!!!" also no time. -_-
then all lie down, chit chat lor..bout coll la, gossip la, love la, joke la, wat also got.
then all go tido.

630am..Nelson woke me n Raymond up...see sunrise.
our place is relli strategic, facing the east..hehe
but, me n Raymond got up, went out of tent and look at the sunrise..n i said:
"wah....nice. .........................erm....lidat oni ar?*yawn* i sleep 1st, later call me again when the sun comes a lil bit more out"
then both went back into tent n sleep.
by the time v get up, already 10am -_- i damn regret. aahaha!

hmmm..here's some lil update bout my term break..
not really a break tho..
cz bad things STILL come..n it's WORSE

went to Cherating for camping to "release" n enjoy a break..
will blog about tht camping when i get all the photos..

but came back from Cherating, receive bad news.
1st, i failed my Marketing...not entirely fail, but i gotta pay rm200 to resit the paper n there goes my JobsDB salary!!
2nd, my grandma is goin for operation.

the latter 1 is the worse n i experienced the saddest moment in my life..relli, the saddest 1..
her intestine operation was successful, but her heart gets weak right after operation..
thn with medication, d heart gets stronger...
so it was a sunday, after visiting her in ICU, we went home n thought to visit her again the next day...she cant talk n was very very weak..but she's conscious..

reach home, i play PS2..play play play, i lost the game, n it says "Game Over" on the screen
n right at tht moment, phone rings...hospital calling.

it was 1am..everyone rushed to hospital...her heart is very veyr very weak..even with the strongest medication on..
everyone talked to her, give her strength..ask her to stay strong, ask her not to go...

at 7.10am, she left us...n that's the saddest moment in my life..
she had her last breathe right in front of me..n everyone...

the thing is, nobody expected this..everyone thought it's a minor operation..n after she gets well, she'll be relli in good health cz she doesnt have heart attack, cancer or wateva illness that normally cause death to an old person..it's only her intestine that has a problem..
v thought v can bring her travel around, have some good food..

even she, herself thought tht it's a minor operation...she can even joke with us, high-5 with us b4 she went for operation, telling us what she want after she gets well..

it was really an unexpected situation..the family is not ready for this..
she left not asny last word to us, but only memories..

memories keep flashing back in my mind..childhood ones and also recent ones..
i used to fetch her around Klang, "shopping".
she is like the head of the family..the oldest n the one who everyone pays respect to..
her gone is a very big change to the family.

ok..now she's gone, another problem occur.
due to her funeral, i cant go for Marketing exam to re-sit the paper..
so, i called The One n talked to the Student Register Admin(SRA)...
i tell them my condition and all..n guess wat they fucking say to me..
"so..what you expect us to do now?"
i was stoned over there...
^%*&$%&@*#&*!!!!! BIATCH right??? so fcuking irresponsible right???
then i said la, "er, can i like sit the paper again on another day? i already paid for it.."
n she said, "ar...ar...ar...i dunno la, cz...the test is already over..u wait, call u abck in 15 minutes.."
5 hours has passed, my phone hasnt ring yet..
i dunno, i have a feeling im gonna resit the whole subject for a term...n I DONT FCUKING WANT THAT!!

yea, i overeacted tht time..but im not angry at their clumsiness..im was angry tht..y didnt they tell me earlier about it???

d other day our 3D lecturer, Tammie was viewing everyone's work n talked about it in the class. she can tell everyone's personality thru their work n also their progression, n wat she said is true! not only mine, but also for others..
so this is what she said when she view my work :
"Ckin ar Ckin...ur still life..not bad! good! better than ur progress. At 1st i c ur progress ar..i thought u sure gone d 1 la..cz ur progress really bad eh..but the final outcome..not bad!
u learn things fast, u catch up fast. You always catch up with ppl better than you 1. I know u 1..when u c ppl better than u ar, u kenot tahan edi 1..You dun like to lose 1..This is good la, but..dn too much la cz this means u're lost, u dunno where ur strenght is..u wanna master in every strength, but u dun master in a main strength, then u dunno where to go already.

worked for JobsDB.com for career Fair at PWTC
i would say..not so bad..but also bad at times..akakak
payment ok, but work like siao..non-stop 1

so my job is to scan ppl's resume into the pc, n key in their particulars into the data..
n yeah..there're SO MANY ppl jobless out there..n also alot of fresh grads..
gila sial..the amount of ppl is like..wah lau..
now u know how's the world like out there huh..hard to get a job sial..

besides, mostly all with degrees...n now i start to think whether i should further my studies anot after my diploma.. -_-

anyway, today's different. i met a special man during work..
he came to my counter n gave me his particulars n i just key it into the pc la
he's disabled, a deaf...

at 1st i din know, i talked damn fast summore..thn he start showing me sign languages..
thn understood la..so i write wat i wanna say on a piece of paper, n he just nod his head or write back to me...kinda hard to communicate at 1st, but awhile, get used to it d..thn i like ask him come to the monitor n i point here n there..n tried my best to help him..i helped to key in his stuff n all with my heart...not like how i treat other visitors...all just bantai key-in only..cz there're TOO MANY..akakak

i relli kesian tht man..n hope he get a good job.

v all understand, it's kinda hard for him..since he's deaf..kinda hard to find a job..
anyway, he has a very decent look..u c d, like very knowledgable person look like that..

n after 2day's encounter wif tht man..
ppl tk things for granted..ppl are greedy..they always want MORE..
including myself tho..
abit abit, v start complaining..complaining our life sucks, v're the worst life on earth n bla bla bla..

the 6 weird thing i have isss....

1. superstitious? ahaha..i pantang alot of things..like..i dislike d broom ter-sweep my leg, i dislike pl to walk over me when im lying on the ground or something, i dislike ppl tapping my shoulder from behind, n etc. i'll feel that my lucky star will be sweeped away or scared away..ahaha!

2. i need to chew or have something in my mouth when im watching movie or wat..n this is wat i call enjoy life..hehehe

3. i'm very very noisy in front of my frens, but very very cool n quiet in my family..since young already lidat..cz i thk im the youngest..wat i say thy wont listen..so i better shut up. thy ask me anythg, my answer is "no/dunno" just to avoid further questions..jz lazy to talk to family, but DAMN talkative when im wif peers..lol

4. i tell people about my stuff. i dun keep it. i just tell anyone. to me it's just the matter of "should this person know bout it? or shouldnt he/she". if not, i just tell only. ahakz

got up very early this morning..
usually when im drunk ill get up very early automatically..

i'm so stuck.
stuck in everything.
stuck in work issues, stuck in personal issues.
n now, i'm stuck in blogging...dunno exactly wat i wanna say.

1 more day, coll is starting. thk back wat i did this whole cny holiday, nothing valueable...
not even my assignments..urgg...
everytime i touch my assignment, i'll get stuck n question myself "what do you want?? what kinda design you want?what kinda mood you want??"
n until now, i still dont have a clear answer on it..and when i dunno what i want, i cant fcking start my work.

for Maya still life modelling, i KNOW what i want. but i DONT KNOW how to do it..so, i'm stuck again.

this whole holiday week is crappy to me. i wasn't at all happy or enjoy during this holiday.
if u ask me y, i dont fcking know. *guys do have period sometimes* :)
not to say i dn go out n have fun...i did, went gambling, clubs, visitng n all..but i just dont realli enjoy all of em. just feel something's missing.
besides, im having a slight asthma at the moment...it makes me hard to breathe by just climbing the damn stairs..goshhh

most of d time i jz stayed at home watch anime, guitar n play PS2 racing game..lol

so this man said "i ask myself everyday, which day is most important to me?which day is my wonderful day?"
everytime when he's not happy, he wish tht the day will pass faster, n the next day come faster. to him, "2day is a miserable day...i want a new day to come quickly."
d next day came, still d same..miserable for him..so again, he wished for the same thing..
after many many many days..he still have miserable days..
but this time, he realise th most important n wonderful day in his life is actually Today. not yesterday, not tommorrow, but Today.
how many TODAYs have he wasted n living it unhappily?
for a human, only have approximately 36500 days to live. and that is a very very very small amount.
even USD36500 also is a small amount right??

so basically, it's like the chinese saying "unhappy, u'll still live that day..happy, u will also live that day. so y not live ur day happily?"

n now, i regret i didnt enjoy my 1 week holiday happily..n i know, i will nvr get back those days.
but if God would give me a chance, i duwan back this holiday.
i want back the day, which is like a dream to me..that happened weeks behind X)

i would say this CNY is rather quiet..aint as fun n happening as b4.
mayb cz i dn c ppl playing fire crackers and lion dances...got la, but VERY little.

1st Day - as usual, go grandma's hse..whole family wore RED RED! ahaha!!
thn went to temple..so stuffy and hot there, n also super lotz of people..as expected, 1st day of CNY.
every CNY 1st day, d whole family will go for movie..n this kinda outing is relli once a year for my family..ahhaha
but not this year..i was suggesting Protege, but none of my aunts n uncle are interested..if it's Jackie Chan, they sure go..

so just stayed at grandma's hse watch TV n eat..thats all..not even gambling!!omg..

i realised something 2day..
i'm kinda interested in filming. im kinda confuse now..
i wonder after getting my diploma in animation,
i thought of like..continue my study, but in filming..as in more details..like..train to b a director mayb?
but that's near impossible la..unless i try for scholarship

animation is also part of filming anyway..
but wat i learn in animation is d design n technical part..

what i wanna learn in filming is like..how do u direct movies..
bottom line, im interested in learning to direct movies..ahha
though, im already learning some basics in filming from my storyboard class..
but i actually wanna know more

so wat i can do now, research n know more..

Saturday was a horrible day i would say..
went Ruums for Blastoff final, but entrance closed, v're too late..
thn frens had some probs also..
thn i was LOST in Cheras for 1 1/2 hrs!!! *getting lost alone, dunno where on earth u are is rather scary* besides, my fon no batt..
so i guess my frens n i had a bad day tht day..

430am..just finished shooting the film tht i mentioned...
n it's only 3 scenes!!!!
v have a total of 8 scenes altogether, ytrday already shot 2 scenes which also took us blardee long hours.
now left 3 more scenes to go!!n gonna be done tmr...die..
BUT, not bad the shots that v'd taken..turns out like the way we want it to be...

currently doing 3D modelling for Greek Temple...
but now resting..akakaka
actually finished modelling the basic shapes d..but lecturer critic..
so again, i tak puas n went re-do a different approach..ahahha
nvm, kinda fun to play wif this MAYA software..though i faced troubles cracking its stupid file..

2 years in TOA..3D modelling is the 1st class that the lecture goes on non-stop for 4 hours..
2day worse..nearly 5hours..my lecturer talked non-stop..
break 5 minutes..continue again...kesian la..haha
she said alot of things to teach in MAYA...
n seriously, ALOT...i also cant remember wat she taught d 2day..too many too stuff inside my brain man..ahaha

just EMO...for no reason
this sem, saturday got no class...whether it's a good thing or bad thing..i dunno

got assignemnts to do actually, but..i dunno which to start with...some, i dunno how to start..n ONE, i cant even start...cz i dn have MAYA software..

so i just stayed at home the whole day, doing nothing..totally nothing
n bro also took the car out 2day, cant go out also..
got too bored, n slowly turned emo
thn my little cousins came to my hse awhile...1 of them snapped my acoustic guitar string...
another 1 worse..dragged my ELECTRIC GUITAR from upstairs 2 downstairs!!!!!
i heard something banging n hitting on the staircase n i thoguht "wat are the kids playing la??"
n when i got downstairs, i saw the guitar on the floor n 0_0 OMFG!!!
my heart was like *OUCH* when tht happened...
n that made me more moody after that..

i just cant stay at home d whole day man..

started badly----lol

class suppose to be from 2pm - 9pm(2 classes)
so i didnt drive 2day cz mom needs the car at night..

reach coll, ppl tell me night class canceled.

n then go back, draw out the picture u saw and marker render it!!!

finally got the pics at Genting during New Year countdown..
gonna share alil bout tht day :)

basically there were 17 of us who went...

n v only rented 2 triple rooms and it's big enuff!!worthy!!!

so 1 room for the gals, n 1 room for the guys..

actually..Genting..beside the cold wind, there's nothing much there to enjoy d la..

so v actually just go for the atmosphere, the wind...hehe

got nothign to do over there before the countdown..so just went makan, chilling in room and bowling..boring huh???

but guess the gals had more fun than the guys..at least they had a GAME to play...ahahaha

after getting ready, bout 1130pm all of us rush to the countdown spot n went crazy over there!!

Happy New Year!!!!!woooo-hooooo!!!!!
it's 2007!!!no more TEEN in my age already..
so, time to grow up!!!

i thk my mentality did grow up in 2006..
the way i thk has changed compared to the previous years..
i am more aware of what's good and what's bad. aware of people around me, aware of things around me...
the biggest thing i learn in the year 2006 is not to take things for granted and treasure the thigns and people around you before it's too late :)
of course, there are more things tht i learned, and infinite things to be learn.
u never go thru it, u nvr know...

so Year 2007 resolution!!!!
build up my portfolio!!!!!!!!!
work out!!!!!
change some habits and...yeah!!!

so far tht's what in my mind la..akakakak

did a great celebration for new Year's Eve at Genting,
it's the best New Year Eve i ever had!!!
i miss it so much now..
the moments, the atmosphere, the craziness, the everything and of course, the PEOPLE!!!hehehe

will find time to blog and post pics on the celebration...
